Life I left New York City in 1969 searching for a place to raise children and just "get away." Jumped in a travel trailer with my husband and traveled 4+ years around the country. We have a daughter (born in 1970) and a son (born in 1971). We found Glenwood Springs in Colorado in 1974. I am still in Glenwood Springs. . I went to work for a community college here in 1979 and can't believe I have finally retired. I was a resource developer who writes and manages a lot of the college's grants. Divorced in 1985 and just never found anyone to "spend the rest of my life with." I have traveled to Europe three times which is something I never thought would be possible. One of the reasons I did get to travel is that my son became a world-class cyclist - - the Tour de France type. In Athens in August 2004 he won a bronze medal in the Time Trial. It was very exciting and special. My son and his wife have given me two beautiful granddaughters. My daughter gave me a grandson in 2010. I hope to hear from some old pals via cl...Expand for more
