Bernice West:  

School I, Bernice West, attended elementary, junior high, and two years of high school in Montgomery, Alabama before coming to Los Angeles, California. My last year of high school was at Jefferson High School. The first friend I had was Carol White. I made friends with more classmates as I went along the school year. That last year of high school was the hardest for me, because I was not able to graduate with the friends I had in Montgomery. Also, there were some students who spreaded a rumor about me that was not true.
