Bernice's Story

I went to Galen Clark to 5th grade , then 1/2 way thru , we moved and I went to John Muir then onto Herbert hoover Jr High. I went 3 1/2 yrs to Merced HS , then moved , got married to Jerry Caughman. He was in the Marines so we traveled . We moved back to Ca and Jerry got out of the Marines and into the Ca Hi-way Patrol..we moved to southern Ca , separated & divorced .I have 4 boys... eled . I have lived in Ariz, Mass , Texas, North Carolina , and have traveled all thru the southern states . My parents were Ray& Ruth Gutierrez. He owned several gas stations there in Merced. I am a retired Cake decorator . I worked for Albertson's for 18 1/2 yrs. My father passed away in 79 and my mother currently lives with me. My husband & I were married for 41 yrs. He passed away 4 yrs ago. I love animals .. I've had cats , dogs, ducks, rabbits , birds , fish .
