Bernice's schools include Billings Senior High School. She later attended Eastman School of Music. She works(ed) at National conference of Christians and Jews1969-1987.

ll in school,I attended Cal State,majoring in English,and finally got my BA in 1969.I used my music as a soloist and choir member for years.I worked in Los Angeles,as the director of a human relatioms program for multi-racial teens for The National Conference of Christians and Jews for 16 years.I used my music in playing my guitar and singing to patients at their bedside,at the UCLAMedical Center in the Strolling Musicians Program,and later at MEMORIAL Hospital in Long Beach.It was a tremendously rewarding program to me,and a wonderful way to use my musical ability.I have three great kids of whom I'm tremendously proud.".
