Bernita's Story
RENEW in '08 - April, 2008
Well, Class of 1986, most of us are entering or have entered another decade this year. Wwwwwooooowwwww!!!!
Lately, I've been walking down memory lane and having a "BALL" because it sooooo good to "laugh" at YOURSELF! I've found that I cherish all "the GOOD", "the BAD" and "the UGLY" of my life. If it wasn't for these things, I would not be who I am today. THANK YOU GOD FOR THE LESSONS!!!
To commemorate this milestone for me, I've challenged myself this year to mend what I can mend and that that I can't, I'll turn it over to GOD!!! Fellow classmates, would you take this challenge with me. Life is too short to be holding on to "bitterness". PLEASE LET GO AND LET GOD!!!!!!
JCM and TREADWELL HS CLASS OF 86, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!
KEEP IN TOUCH!!!!

September 2007 - LIFE
Well, I'd just like to say that the 20 Year Reunions (Treadwell High's and JCM's) last year were 'Off-the-Chain"!!!!! I had a ball. It was great to see everyone.
I hope that we are able to keep in touch with each other because you know most of us will be turning the "Big 4 0" next year. It would be nice to try to do something together. Just a thought.
Peace and Love, Bernita

January, 2006
Hello Class of '86. This is Bernita Pullen here startin...Expand for more
g out the Year of 2006 with a "bang". It's been 20 years since I've seen most of you and I must praise God for allowing me to be here to be able to say that!!!!
First, I must say to the JCM Class of '86, I will always consider myself a part of you. You're my roots! I propelled from Parkway Junior High entering the Fall of '84 at JCM. I will never forget the rigorous band practices we had in August, 1984 playing Earth Wind & Fire "In the Stone" with Mr. Watson in preparation for that big day in East Tennessee (Marching Bands of America). I will always remember how everyone was passing out during these practices in the summer and I had to be the only one, during the winter months, who passed out in the gym of East Tennessee State University's Gym hitting my head on Kenneth Corbin's bass drum. Wow, what a memory!! Anyway, that memory is PRICELESS!! Please let me know what you are doing for your 20th. I would love to see you all.
For the Treadwell High Class of '86, you adopted me and took me in and I thank you for that. It was wonderful to see most of you at Coach Currie's funeral (He had a way of bringing us together one way or another -- I love you Coach Currie - you're the best. Rest in Peace!!!) It was also a pleasure to hang out with some of you at Jerri's on January 28th. Let's keep this going and make our 20th Class Reunion something to remember.
