Bert's Story
Life
Isn't this fun? I think so. After 'Hills I trekked west to Texas Tech as did a bunch of us.
Armed with a Petroleum Engineering degree, I moved to Sonora and become the District Engineer. We always had between 2 & 5 drilling rigs "turning right" and operated around 400 producing wells. Ah, those were the days . . . .
From there, I moved to Houston, attended AIB classes at the Fed and became a banker in the oil loans department. Next, Mercantile Bank hired me to set up their Oil Loans Division of Alamo National Bank in San Antonio. From there I came home to Fort Worth with Texas Commerce Bank / Tandy Center.
Then, at the same time, two industries collapsed: Oil and Banking.

Trim Infomercial, hs science teacher, snakes & flip-flops in Miami and several other adventures. That's Randy White in East Fort Worth helping me sell Electricity.
Went back in Houston working as Petroleum Engineer for an oil company. I work on acquistions, new locations and workovers. Then back to FW to be the campaign manager for Lt. Ralph Swearingin in his bid to be a Judge - he won! It is interesting to watch him run his court! He is in the old courthouse at Main and Weatherford on the top floor.
Currently I am moving a manufacturing company to a large warehouse at Fort Wolters in Mineral Wells. We build oil field equipment and large truck for different industries. I plan to move there soon from East FW. -Bert
