Berta's Story
hello......i am still living in new bedford (and yes, i am still under 5' tall) ...i have a job at a local commercial printer/marketing firm/creative services agency...however my real work is painting (yes, i am still painting)...i have a studio in downtown new bedford and have exhibited locally and internationally (yes, some people will buy anything). i still play soccer occasionally, (yes, it hurts when i do play)...even coached youth soccer for a few years (could only coach the 5 year olds because the kids in the higher age groups were all taller than me)....i travel often to be...Expand for more
rmuda (my birthplace) and the azores (yes, i am still portuguese)...i am very proud of my itunes 80's playlist (yes, i still dig rick springfield)....my new interests/hobbies since high school are puppet theatre (i have actually performed on a stage in front of hundreds wearing a big paper machie head)...(yes, i am still a little weird)...cooking...(i am famous for my bermuda rum cake, pumpkin casserole and i make a mean 5 bean chili)....i have recently enrolled in an online writing classes (hoping to write a book someday) and i am looking forward to my 20th class reunion this fall.
