Bertharean's Story
I lived in West Monroe Louisiana and I attended Tim Tippit Elementary and Boley Junior High and started at Richardson High School and moved to Chicago where I continued my education. My Profession is Technical Educator in Cosmetology and I am currently a Restauranteur in Chicago, IL I have 2 daughters and 1 grandchild. I was united with my biological family 1 brother and 4 sisters in Chicago. I been away so long but I still remember my roots. West Monroe will always be my home.

, for the past 10 years after my children were done with their college education I decided to give something back. I am a Restauranteur in Chicago, IL. I hire the hardest to employ (ex-felons) assisting them to transition their lives back into the main stream of society. While it can be challenging. There are rewards as well knowing that some of them will move on to better times in their lives and not returning to the world of encarceration. I've had some successes. There's still plenty of work to be done.
