Bessie's Story
Greetings, I've been busy since high school. I have been living either on the left coast or the right coast with brief stays in N.O. I am currently residing on the left coast and loving it. Remember I married in 1964 Schooner (Junius Wallace) who lived on Galvez Street and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I eventually had two more daughters and married again - not necessarily in that order :-).
Currently, I am single; enjoying waterfront living; teaching middle school students with Special Needs. I have a B.S. in Business Mgmt and two Masters in Education. One M.A. is in Education with a concentration in Psychology and the other is in Special Education. All of my daughter have master degrees. Oh, my baby girl is one class away from masters. My first daughter is a professional engineer in top mgmt with a utility company, the middle is in counseling and the baby has her mobile spa business.
I love to travel. I have been to the Carribean, e.g. Jamaica, Bahamas, Cancun, etc. My international travels have been to Kenya. My int...Expand for more
ercontinental travels have been both for business while working as a Senior Mgmt Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration, and for pleasure. That was my employer while living on the right coast. It was not until 9/11 while I was sitting on the last subway train to leave the Pentagon that I became very clear that I wanted to work for the betterment of mankind. I sold my townhouse and left D.C. area in 12/01 and returned to the left coast where most of my family and dear friends resided.
I still love to sew. Mrs. Butler from Derham and Mrs. Adams from BTW taught me well. I still comment to making at least two outfits prior to the start of the new school year.
Reading is my passion. My books of choice are spiritual metaphysically based. I am a student of truth and lifelong seeker of knowledge. My journey on this path as served me well. My intuitive skills supports me and others very well.
In closing - I am finally living my purpose. I am happy, loving and joy filled.
