Beth's Story
I hope old friends will remember me as a happy, confident, sometimes flirty person.
Back then, I had on occasion, a short fuse and when I was irritated by someone, it would end up in a verbal tirade. Over thirty years time, I've learned to quell the tirades and in lieu of a verbal barrage, I will go off and do some form of exercise to blow off steam, sometimes to the point of injury. I know, no one has to tell me, not smart. Another way I relax is a nice cold margarita and good book to calm the nerves and the fuses.
The one person who has inspired me most throughout my life is my mom. She's my hero. y mom had to have emergency triple bypass surgery. The one I'd always affectionately called "my Energizer Bunny" came very close to death, and of all the life lessons I've learned, the one that has stuck with me most, is a simple one -- say "I love you" because we never know when that loved one may be suddenly taken from us.

Obsessions, I have a few -- reading (I have at least 4 books going at one time), and reality tv (not all of it, but if you ask, I'll be glad to share which shows I never miss).
There are many teachers I'd want to see again, but I think the ones I want to see most are Ms Christensen and Mr. Fetter. They were very special as they both imparted to me the love of the written word.
