Hello Old Friends! So, life has taken us all on some pretty fun adventures, it's good to reflect back on the journey sometimes. I still live in Kennewick, Washington, where I have lived pretty much my whole adult life. I don't regret leaving the green and rainy side for life in the desert, 300 days of sunshine a year...I love it! My husband Gene and I enjoy life over here. He worked for the Kennewick Police Department for 18 years before switching over to Battelle, a national laboratory, and he has been with them for over 20 years. I was a stay at home mom in the beginning and then I went back to school in my 30's and got my teaching degree. This was my 23rd year of teaching school, right now I am teaching kindergarten half time, (they only come for the mornings), and I consider it my perfect semi-retired life! Our daughter Sarah is 34, and she and Derrick have two girls, Eden, age 9 and Halle age 6, but the fun news is they are expecting a little boy this December, that will be a fun change.
