Beth Miller:  

After graduating from Fourth Baptist Christian School in 1981, I attended and then graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in 1985. I have a major in Seconday Education, a major in Home Economics and a major in Bible. I also have a minor in Art. I actually did my student teaching back at Fourth Baptist under Karen Burns and Barb Russell--that was a pretty strange feeling, wandering the halls as a "teacher" rather than a student!! In the midst of student teaching, when I would complain to Dan (my boyfriend at the time and now my husband), he had no sympathy. He would remind me of all of my "Fourth" stories where I was the tormentor of teachers! Dan and I married in 1986, after dating for three years. Dan graduated from Pillsbury in 1984 and then went on to Mankato State for a Master's degree in Ancient History. He planned on being a basketball coach and history teacher (in that order) when he "grew up", but God had other plans. While I was doing my student teaching (Fall of 1985), Dan was working on his thesis for Mankato State. He decided to fill in his time with a class at Central Seminary--his goal was to know more of our great God.
