Beth's Story
College
I enjoyed my four years at Heidelberg College. I received a wonderful liberal arts education preparing me for graduate school. One of my college highlights was my sophmore year when our concert choir toured the West. We started in Denver and ended in LA. It was a great tour. I got to see quite a bit of the country I would not have otherwise visited. My MSW program at Washington Univesity was excellent. Also, a quailty education. And, I got to be in St. Louis, which is still my favorite town.
Workplace

worked as a Naturalist at a YMCA camp. Had a great time working with 5th graders from Toledo Public Schools. From there, it was onto a secretarial position with an auto manufacturing sub-assembly plant. Then, back for my MSW where I had odd jobs like waiting tables in a tea room and filing for a CPA firm. Since graduating with my MSW, I've worked as a therapist in a residential drug treatment program for teens, as a school social worker and now as a trauma therapist with kids. I absolutley love my job and the work I am currently doing.
