Beth's Story
Escaped The Falls/Northeast Ohio in 1985.. Landed in Fort Lauderdale after a brief stop in Seattle. My family is still in Summit County. I get to Ohio (Swenson's!) about once a year. Happily married - no kidz is the secret to happy marriage! My husband and I both work in the gaming business - I met my husband at Northfield Park in 1981 where we both worked. I worked at 7 different racetracks including Churchill Downs on Derby Day. Also was Cage Manager at a casino and did some poker dealing. Landed as Executive Assistant to VP/GM of Dania Jai-Alai in the 90s and until 2010. I love jai-alai.

still listen to Dark Side of the Moon just about every day. also ALL Beatles, Dire Straits and Dylan.
My favorite teacher was Mr Nagel - theatre. Guess he's passed on.
Also Mr Quirk from Sill Jr. High. I believe I learned the most from him.
I wish I could track down my friend Karen Kitsch, who moved to St Louis after 9th grade. Totally lost track of her.
2016 update. Found my friend Karen! She is a well-known western art painter, living in Colorado on a cattle ranch and painting in her studio. Anyone remember her?
Further update. After 30+ years away from the Falls, I have returned and am a resident of Cuyahoga Falls again.
