Beth's Story
A few years after high school, I took a road trip for 8 weeks through 15 western states with my then boyfriend and we landed in Oregon. Stayed to play in the mountains and ocean and enjoy the no sales tax. I have three kids, Tim, Willow, and Heather, a dog named Blue, a cat named Maeve, a big house overlooking a park, and I drive a 72 VW bug. ot laid off after 7 years at a local hospital as a medical transcriptionist and unit secretary. Now, I'm back to making jewelry and working the small farm we started in the yard. If I can't afford to buy food, I might as well grow it. Food not lawns. Love to camp on my own with my dog and spend lots of time outside - hiking, swimming, river rafting and surfing, yes river surfing, and selling my jewelry at local fests, fairs and Saturday Market.
