Beth's Story

Life I am incredibly happy and have been blessed with an awesome husband, Rick. We have 5 kids; Amy 25, Kelly 23, Monica 21 (and a new son-in-law Jason!), Ryan 17, and Allison 15. I am currently in charge of the Specialty Pharmacy for CareSource, a medicaid HMO. I'm an RN and have been working in the administrative aspects of healthcare for quite awhile. I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for two years and am doing that part-time. Family life is very busy. It just amazes me how fast time goes by. I'm still involved with music, but now I sit behind the sound board more than I perform. 4 years of high school marching band and 2 years of college marching band and I still wish I could get out there every fall. I've had a lot of different jobs since high school: Firefighter/paramedic (now who...Expand for more
's surprised at that??), retail sales, and for the last many years, nursing. I've worked in Neonatal Intensive Care, Coronary Intensive Care, I ran a pediatric practice and a healthcare staffing agency. Now I've settled into the insurance industry and just completed my business degree. I like to think that I've done well. I'm sure I've made some bad choices, but who doesn't? The important things are the people in your life and my life has been blessed with many, many wonderful people. I hope that everyone who reads this remembers me and smiles, either because I was a friend or just a goofball. I have many great high school memories and I am grateful to those of you who played a role, in any way, in them. I miss those who are gone and cherish the long lasting friendships that have remained.
