Beth's Story
Michael and I met at the U. of Michigan. We married in 1972 and promptly moved to Boulder, Colorado so that Michael could enjoy his new found interest of rock climbing. A year later, We moved to Fort Collins, CO so that I could pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy. Our son, Josh was born in Fort Collins the day after I took my last final.
I just retired after 20+ years of school based OT in the mountains of Colorado.

Sadly, since my parents moved from Akron shortly after we graduated I've rarely returned. Most recent trip to Akron was in 1998 to celebrate our 50th birthdays with a group of '66 grads from Firestone and Buchtel. It was a memory provoking trip.
I once ran into Margie Fleisher at USC during the orientation weekend. Her daughter and Josh were freshmen. She recognized my voice, but couldn't remember why she knew me. We planned the 20 questions until we figured out how we knew each other.
Small world stories. I love them.
