Bethann's Story

Life I have 2 boys age 8 and 12.We live in Latrobe, did not wander to far but will eventually live near the ocean.I went to Eroupe for the 1st time this year and now I am hooked. Travel will always be on the list of to do's. I traveled alone and met friends there. It was very liberating. The boys play sports, the youngest likes football best but also plays baseball and basketball. My oldest plays baseball and basketball and is very creative. We spend as much time outdoors as we can and the boys and I love the beach.I love being a mom and lucky to share my life with the boys. I am working full time and have started back to school. Haven't figured out for what yet but having fun going and like the classes I started with,so who knows. School Did I have a crush? If I did it was most likely someone who didn't even know I existed. I dated Ken the whole way through high school and loved it,until something confusing happened before the senior prom and I went with John. Must have been meant to be,I married him. Mr. Prengaman was inspiring to me,(9th grade,I think)He helped me to realize it is ok to be different, belive in yourself and stand up for those beliefs and to stand up for others.I still live my life this way. Nell Terney was also instramental in helping me to develop my creativity and see the horticulture program in a different light. I am glad that I was a part of that program it gave me an outlet for my creativity.I still use what I learned today. I have done many large scale weddings and have worked for some high society people. I feel this is my art and one of my talents. I remember being on light crew for the musicals it didn't really make me feel like a part of the musical but we sure did have one heck of a good time.(couldn't be in the musical, coldn't carry a tune to save my life and Suzanna was sure to let me know how bad I was by keeping me in girls chorus.)I spent the best times with Lisa and the light crew was one way that helped us to be close.I loved being at her house and water skiing at Tub Run she was a great friend, lucky to have her.I had a group of friends that seem to have stayed around and I am happy f...Expand for more
or that but miss others. Colleen and I used to have the best times.I miss seeing her. I remember all of the fun and strange things we did with the group of friends from Derry. Don't regret much. Had a good life and still do. Most of my fun and crazy experiences were with my friends from Latrobe but there are a few trips and a few dances at Derry that are worth remembering. I remember summers at the Latrobe pool and winters at the skating rink and bowling alley. I made some great friends at these places.I would love to hear from some of them and share some memories.I remember some people that were in and out of my life so quickly but must have left some type of an imprint still thinking of them.It is fun to recall all of the firsts that are experienced in high school. It is good to look back sometimes. Workplace My first real job was at the Laurel 30 cinema. I loved that job. I was young and it was easy and fun. I did my homework between movies, got into all of the theaters free and made some good friends. We had a blast, wonder if they all feel the same. I wonder where Shane is now and does he still have all of the posters. Is Chris still crazy and driving like wildfire.Did Jason change much,he was so cute and innocent.Plus the people that would come in and out of that place, some left quite an impression.I can remember some of the lines when big movies(now classics)were playing. From there I worked in different flower shops until the last at Colonial Touch in Ligonier.I was there for at least 5 years or more and count that as the best place I ever worked but I wanted to have children and be a stay at home Mom so I quit and took a parttime job at the hospital.I am still there. I changed positions many times.I love where I am now and what I do.I work in the rehab and love seeing the patients heal and recover. It is very satisfying. Now that I am in school we will see what is next for me. Military Never in the military but gotta love the military expecially the Marines. I was going to go right out of high school, studied for ASVAB but John came back from Calf.for me and I never went. I should of gone, maybe would of traveled more.
