Betsy's Story
Then, I was involved with Forensics competition- extemporaneous speaking and one year did the play "By the Dark of the Moon." Other than that, I was rather quiet and was not athletic. I got pretty good grades and SAT's.
I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and graduated in 1972 (early). I went onto Washington University (St. Louis) and received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1978, stopping for a year at the University of North Carolina, Department of Psychiatry from 1975-1976 to do my clinical internship. o Atlanta at Emory University Department of Psychiatry for an Assistant Professorship from 1978-1981 and have remained a clinical adjunct professor throughout the years. I have been past president of the Georgia Psychological Association.
I have been happily married this year will be 25 years to my husband, Barry Berman in our blended family with 3 children, his chid, 40, mine, 27, and ours, 21.
We live in the suburbs of Atlanta. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, I like to write and do pro bono work. I enjoy exploring spirituality.
