Bettina's Story

Life Just celebrated my first wedding anniversary. YAY! Hal is my best friend, husband. lover etc. I'm truly blessed to have him and his family in my life. 1 year of being called Mrs. Cody. I'm no longer looking for my mother in law when people address me that way. LOL My parents live upstate now about 3 mins from us and now my mother in law lives 2 mins from us. My mom has alzheimers and I help take care of her everynight. My father is doing well. I cook and clean for them. My parents were there for me and I will always be there for them. I've been trying to get to the bottom of my twitches. Many of you will remember my twitching is HS and 8th grade at OLMM. No such luck yet. More than 2 years of testing. Something is misfiring and we can't seem to pinpoint anything. Our baby cockatiels are now over a year old AND we have added another member....Expand for more
Poncho my husband's 6 month old Blue & Gold Macaw. What a love. He's so sweet I'm getting cavaties. I've been working on my Double Yellow Headed Amazon's behavioral issues. I've been watching a lot of the Bird Whisperer on youtube.com. Hal has taught me a lot too. Patience. We still have our horses, dogs, cats, birds and 1 ferret. We have completed the renovation to our house. UGH! I NEVER want to go through that again. Geeze. lol It was all worth it though. Hal has just started up a pet sitting business and already has clients lined up. Farms, small animals, boarding, etc. Very cool. So, I help him with his business, I still work in Manhattan (still nearly 6 hours of travel and working 8 hours), taking care of my parents, finances, etc. I'm exhausted all the time but, in the end, it will be worth it. zzzzzzzzzzz Have a HAPPY DAY ALL!
