Nov. 2013 (wow! Almost 2014 already!)
Greetings! This is my 2nd update. I just read my first post, and promised to add pictures. 6 months later, I've done so. Pictures tell a thousand words, but I'll throw a couple hundred of my own in, too.
It's been busy with our move (aka retirement) to Luray... took some getting used to, even tho we were here for 5-1/2 years on weekends. Living permanently in Luray initially saddened me deeply -- I missed my life in Warrenton immensely! Still, it was a fun-filled and highly productive year. The happy part: we've got great neighbors, found a church we like, and we've started a vacation rental business. If you ever want a place to stay in the beautiful and laid back Shenandoah Valley, or just happen to be in the area, you're welcome here -- and so are your dogs! We were busiest during the fall, when the leaves were stunning, but have had quite a few people from the Metro area who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle to a home away from home and relax. Dishes, towels, cook-wear, amenities (such as coffee) are provided. All you have to bring is your food. Made me laugh when asked "Do I have to bring my own toilet paper?"
