Hello to all my old classmates--there have been a lot of changes over the last few years, one of which is my name change. Since I had always known that my grandfather's name was different (but was changed by an emigration official when he emigrated from Germany) I took back his last name, and also changed my first name as well, to Alix. though it was a little bit hard for some old friends.
As an update--I have been working at UCLA for the past five years and am a full time court reporting student--hope to have my license within a couple of years, which will give me a lot more flexibility in income and possiblities for relocation. Thinking about the Pacific Northwest--LA is just too hot--and that's from someone who grew up in Riverside with no air conditioning!
