Betty's Story
Joe and I are living in Broken Arrow, OK. We transferred here 12/04 because State Farm closed the operations center in Monroe. Since moving here, we have both retired. Joe August '05. I retired August '06. It's been great being able to come and go as we please. We stay very busy volunteering at church and in our community. We also get to take a lot of road trips to Dallas to see our son, Jason, his wife, Neia, and our new grandbaby, Gillian, who was born April '07. Our other son, Jody, lives in Owasso just 20 minutes north and works for Schlumberger in Bartlesville, OK. It's great having him near. and sister live there. My sister, Bonnie, lives at Lake St. John and my brother, Michael, still lives in Vidalia. With all the nieces and nephews in the area, we have a "family reunion" just about every time we are there. Who knows! We might even move back there one day.
We also have a little 5 lb. Yorkie named Muffin who is such a joy. She's our "third child."
I really enjoy being a part of Classmates and being able to see where life has taken each of you. I pray that you are all doing well and that life has been good to you. I would love to be able to renew friendships & acquaintances so please let me hear from you. Have a blessed year!
