Betty's Story
Betty is from Hendersonville, Tennessee. Betty's schools include Edmond-Memorial High School. I was known as the California Girl because I moved back and forth from Edmond to California which makes me sad because I love Edmond but my mom kept moving me. I finally said I wanted to finish my 11th and 12th grade at Edmond Memorial. Everyone was always friendly to me and made me feel welcome and I'm glad that I can still talk to them and go to the reunions. Love the Edmond Bulldog Band, you guy...Expand for more

I left Edmond and moved to Louisiana, Then I moved to Tennessee in 1977 and been here since. I had 3 sons, which I lost my oldest to a drunk driver in 1988. But as Sally Field said in Steel Magnolia's "Life goes on." But I have learned after all these years, one day at a time.
I still work as a Unit Secretary for a Mental Hospital. I hope to retire in 2 years. And who knows I might move back to my home in Oklahoma!
