Betty Jo is married to Richard Waxman; they have two kids, Jordan born in 1990 who graduated from UCSB, and Rebecca born in 1994 who attends Wesleyan University. She lives in San Rafael (SFBay area). Her mom still lives in Carlsbad and only recently moved out of the home she grew up in.
