Betty's Story
I am recently retired (March) after 22 years with M.U.S.D., Transportaion Dept.. I'm loving it!
Turned off that god forsaken alarm clock! No more 4:30 a.m.! Unless I want to for a special reason all my own..........
I have one son, one daughter, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren........all beautiful, healthy, intelligent!
I live on the outskirts of Madera, surrounded by Vineyards............and I love it. I share my life with 2 pooches, one Heinz I adopted, and one Shih Tzu...and a Macaw that I raised from the nest, syringe feeding him for 7...Expand for more
months. He is truly the man of the house and tells me exactly how it will be!!!!
I enjoy a morning cup of coffee and watching all the cute little cottontails running and jumping and playing.
No stress here. Isn't that the way it should be? (smile)
I have time now to enjoy my family and friends, and I am fortunate enough to have my health and happy-go-lucky attitude to keep me young at heart. Young enough that I am about a gnats hair away from realizing a dream that I have had for years, and that is to purchase a Harley............just for lil ol me!
