If we knew then what we know now. I would have listend to Mrs Buddin telling us about what we would wish when we grew up. High school would have been more about learning and not about the boys. Workplace
I started the working grind right out of High School as I had to support a child. I had a 21 year career at Kash n Karry. This led to different positions in the company and I returned to school later on and then a job change for my husband brought us to South Carolina. I used my work experience and landed a Job as An Internal Auditor with a food service company. I have been here for 14 years now and I love my job. I have a lot of freedom and flexibility. I travel across 3 states and do a lot of work in Loss Prevention. This allows me to meet a lot of interesting people from all walks of life. Each day is a new challenge and you never know what to expect the day to bring. Would never have imagined that my nosiness would be such a job asset but it is. I also utilize all those math skills I never knew I gained in those classes I hated so much in school. I guess if you have to work for a living this is a good job does not feel like work everyday, just some days.
Enjoy life greatly just funny how as we get older we think more about our old friends and old times and feel the need to reconnect. I guess we make lifelong friends when we are young and just do not realize it.
