Betty's Story
Life
I have been married to the same man for 35 years now and we have 9 children between us. We now have 21 grandchildren with one more due any day now. Life is so much better as a grandparent than it was as a parent. I get to spoil them at every opportunity now... LOL
School
I loved my drama class the most I think. It was fun and challenging. I especially enjoyed performing live theater onstage. Of all the classes I took as electives, Drama was the most fulfilling.
College
I graduated from Nurses Training Institute in 1970 and later attended Secretarial School in 1979. Secretarial work became my true calling and car...Expand for more
eer. I worked as a secretary for several years then became a legal secretary in 1985. Three years later I became one of two command secretaries for the Naval Contracting Detachment in Long Beach at the Naval Ship Yard. That was by far my most loved job and I worked there until I retired.
