Betty's Story

I married at 18, had our three children in the first five years, traveled to Florida, North Carolina and Hawaii with Marine husband. Settled in Topeka, KS after George got out of service, went to college 2 years, worked as P.T. Assistant many years with youngsters with developmental disabilities, took early retirement in 1995. egiver for my disabled husband, enjoy family who live around Topeka, a couple of clubs, and friends. One daughter and son in law live near Minneapolis, all the rest live near. We lost our only son to heart disease in 2004, but are so lucky to have Debby and Kelly as our wonderful daughters, along with their families. Betty McKern Beumer
