The Gilmore Family Update: October 1,2012
Terry is dong fine. Retired Regional Manager for AFLAC in December 2009. Just had his annual checkup and all was fine. Doctor says he should be the poster boy for health. Best husband ever! We love traveling and cruising.
Betty - I had ovarian cancer in March 2005. Thank God I am still in remission. (I will tell you the whole story on another email so I don't overwhelm you with so much to read at once.) I do have a lot of medical problems but all are under control with medicine. I retired when Terry retired. We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary in May.
Terry Michael - He and his family had lived in CA for a little over 2 years. He is 45 years old and has been married since July 22, 2005. He is a cardiac/vascular ultrasound technician. He has a son named Christian who was born July 29th, 2006 and a son named Reese who was born July 21, 2009. His wife is Sonya. They are presently living in Carriere, MS. He took a new job there so they would be closer to family. A 4 1/2 hour drive is better than 2,888 miles away.
Stacy - My daughter that lives in Laplace, Louisiana is also doing fine. She is 39 and will celebrate her 17 th wedding anniversary on Oct. 20th. She has a very loving husband, Alex, he is a very hard worker and a very good father. Her husband works at Pellerin Milnor on Airline. She has 2 boys, Alex Jr. who is 13 and Zachary who is 10. They both just made the honor roll on their report cards. She has been at the same job ...Expand for more
as a graphic artist for a yellow pages publishing company for 16 years. Alex Jr. is fully recovered from his MRSA thanks to everyone's prayers. (I will tell you that whole story another time also) We get to see them about 3 or 4 times a year.
Amy - My daughter that lives here in Leeds Alabama is 36 and her 2 children Kaitlyn is 14 born 2/17/98 and Ryan is 13 born 6/22/99. They also both made the honor roll. She is doing fine. She sells AFLAC. She got engaged in April and bought a house in September. We are very happy for her and proud of her. She found a real good guy named Roger. He loves her and the kids very much. He is a plumber and has a 22 year old daughter who lives in FL.
J.T. (Joseph Terry) - He is 29 years old now. He went to school to be a certified electrical installer and worked for a few years installing stereo equipment and car alarms,etc. but it doesn't pay as much as he would like to earn. He now sells for Verizon. He has been dating his latest girlfriend over a year. Also, those stupid looking earrings are GONE.

If I won $100 million, I'd give $1 million of it to Each child and sibling, then spend the rest on Traveling, Help around the house...cleaning and cooking and Savings.
My first job was at The Times Picayune, where I got paid $75/week to Post payments for classified ads on an NVR posting machine. What I remember most about it is I enjoyed it and liked my co-workers..
