Life I Remember "those" nights for thoses of you who lived on the block. You could stay out until 2:00a.m. just playing and talking. It seem as though Summer would never end. Time was innocent and we were bliss. We Left Our Front Door open and all our friends would knock and come in. There were after school activities all year around. Mrs. Schulman, Mr.Falmmino and Mr. Higgins were our after school and summer directors. Kick-ball was one of my favorite sports. Sometime we heard guys singing on the street corner and they sound real good even though they were non-professionals. One of these summer nights Elain Thomas (God Bless The Dead) and Brenda CLark(my cousin), and I were setting on the porch talking about what we were going to do when we grew up. When it was my turn I replied "I want to be an airline stewart, Go to Africia, and be a interior designer and write a book. I left Newark in 1973. Married and lived in NBNJ. We divorced in 1977 and as well my mother died. I went to computer programming school and landed a job with Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York. Then I went to work with Cobe Labortories (their line of business was Hemo-dialysis and cardovascular equipment. Authur Ash had his open heart surgey done with our equipment. Met some great people there. I decide I needed to be around my own people and I commuted from NBNJ to Mutal Benefits( still in computers Mainframe). The evny was so great that I had to escape. I relocated to So Jersey to a place called May's Landing and worked for the Federal Aviation Adim. That was a great time in my life.I started meeting people from all over the world. I was on the aquication phase of the project and got to choose where in the nation I could be station. So I chose Wash D.C. not knowing I was not actually going to Va. AT this time I became a single mother by my choice. I was good at what I did. (By the way , I nevered recieved the results from High School when we took the test to see "what we were best at or what they thought we would be best at in life)" Anyway,I was with these great company called CSC via IBM stayed with them 6 years and a good salary and good time.
