Betty's Story
Hi. I used to be Betty Bryant, and now I'm Betty Haskins. We moved from Portland, OR to Boise, ID when I was 16 years of age. I was one of five siblings. Glenn A. Bryant was the oldest. Mary Bryant graduated in Sam Elliot's class. Peggy Bryant is the middle child, and then myself and my little brother, Monte Bryant. Glenn, Mary, and Peggy all graduated from David Douglas High School. Monte and myself attended school in Boise. s. We have a total of 8 children, 18 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. I've lived in Cascade, ID since I married my husband. I've done various things during my life, but the one most endearing job I've ever had, is one I've had for a little over a decade at High Valley Developmental Center. My job is to take care of developmentally disabled persons whether their disabilities be physical or mental. It's a wonderful job. My life has been, overall, full and spectacular.
