Betty's Story
Grew up North of Fargo, got married in 83. Had my daughter Amber then in 85 I had my son Cody. Tasha was born in 92. I was a good mom and worked part time. I ran some day cares for a few years. Had my 4th child karissa in 2000 as well as divorced that same year. Met someone in 02 and had my 5th child, Pashence in 04. My two older children both married and have children.
I am now a single mom with 3 girls at home. I attend NWOSU full time and will graduate in July 08 with a social work degree. I am the president of SWAT(social workers of tomorrow). I am contracted to work for child welfare until January 09.
I live in Woodward, but am considering relocation sometime. I like to garden and cook out.

zation is hosting a fundraiser in Woodward. It is a spaghetti dinner and silent auction. Uwe von Schamann will be the guest speaker. All the money goes to the JD McCarty center. Its a great cause, contact me to buy a ticket!

I must add on here that the fundraiser went great! We raised $4,700!!! Thanks for your support NW Oklahoma.
I have also re-thought my future and have decided to break my contract with child welfare and submit my applications now (after the deadline) to hopefully be accepted into school so I can get my MSW. I am not sure who will accept me, but my professors have assured me it is a workable plan and they are supporting my decision. So if all goes well I will have my MSW by July 2009! Wish me luck.
