Bettye's Story
I am still living in Nashville. I just moved from Donelson to Edge O Lake. My fiance died February 2007, three months before our wedding. He had a massive heart attack. Our house in Donelson was in his name, so after his death, it goes to his daughter's children (she died the summer before him). My daughter, Rose, is 23 years old and living in Madison. t to New Mexico and Arizona. I stayed with a friend at a ranch in Ocate, NM, visited Taos and Sante Fe. At the last minute we decided, since we were so close, to visit the Grand Canyon. Incredible! On the way back we went to the Painted Desert, Petrified Forrest and I stood on a corner in Winslow, Arizona (not such a fine sight to see - the girl in the flat bed Ford, I mean). I am glad I went when I did since gas prices are now so astronomical! I hope to hear from all of you old friends!
