Beverly's Story
Curtis & I were engaged right out of high school, but broke up in late '72. I went to business college, took some classes at BC, I worked for Kern Medical Center in Accts Receivable, then the Lab for 7 years as a phlebotomist/lab-assistant. He went into the Navy & we both married other people. Then 20 years. several marriages & several kids later, we met again. And this time we did get married! (at our church in Bakersfield, Coronado Baptist) And have been together for over 17 years.
I worked for Bakerfield Family Medical Center for 6 years & as a finish electrican prior to that. We have 4 daughters,& 3 grand kids.
Sara Salcido born 1977 . lives in OK, her daughter, Chelsea born 1995.
Delaney Kelley, born 1977, lives in LV, NV.
Chelsea Kelley, born 1987, lives in Teh, CA,her son Aden & daughter, JoyceAnne Marie & their father, Miles.
Caitlyn Schulze, born 1993, lives in SC.
Curtis also has a step-daughter Pamela Mullins, she lives in OR with her husband Lee & two kids, Jamie & Zack.
We lived in Bakersfield 92-96, then Nipomo, Ca 96-2006, then transferred to Mauldin, SC in Aug. 2006 for Curtis' job, then moved to Simpsonville March 2007 . He works for The Wagoneers Trucking transporting specialty cars.
I'm just staying home raising my beautiful daughter & these crazy beagles & enjoying the southern life!!! Hey, life's great back here in "the Bible-Belt!!"

My Mom also moved back her with us. She lives about 5 miles from us in a little town called Fountain Inn. She's 82 now & in good health.
My sister Linda & her husband Danny Reynolds still live in Bak, but are planning to move to Oregon.
My Dad passed away in 1997 . Both of Curtis' parent passed away in the late 80's. His sister Connie still lives in Bak.
Sue (Burkett) Quaife & I still remain really good friends even tho we are over 3,000 mi apart now! (She lives in Vancouver, Wash)
My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old & dead.. I was so completely wrong!.(about the dead part anyway)
What happened to my first crush? I think he's working on his 2nd or 3rd marriage & living in Goleta.
My oldest friend, would be Sue Burkett Quaife. We met in 6th grade & just became bff's. All these years she knew I had a big mouth, she knew all my faults & deepest secrets that I never told anyone else, but she loved me anyway like a true friend . And she forgave me if I ever did anything stupid or uncaring to hurt her. She's THE BEST!! We've done some crazy, fun things together & we pray for each other everyday.
What would surprise everyone at our reunion? That I married Curtis Schulze. That I don't drink anymore. I've put on 20 lbs. I'm a Christian. And I moved across the US. And that my youngest daughter & my oldest grandaughter are 17 months apart in age.
