Beverly's Story
I have never liked to talk about myself, but I guess now
is a good time to start.
I married my High School sweetheart (hum...) and we
made it 30 years. I have two daughters and we
actually enjoy spending time together. I am blessed with two grandsons-Benson, 6, and Brady,3. If I ever have a
bad day, they are a sure fire cure for what might be wrong.
I don't have a paying job, but I serve on several boards
and spend most of my time organizing large fund
raisers for non-profit organizations.
When not raising money, my passions are the lake,
the ocean...actually anything that has to do with water.
Water has such a peace abo...Expand for more
ut it and I am fortunate
enough to live on the lake, so needless to say I love
days or evenings that I get to stay at home. Next
to water, I love snow the best.
.
Of course, UT sports are one of my favorite passtimes.
I love them all but am partial to baseball because my
son-in-law played for UT (and Farragut).
I hit the big 60 in March and survived, it truley is just a number.
It would be great to hear from some of you. Hope life is good.
To close, I would say my life has had its trials, but
at the end of the day I have peace, good health and
more blessings than I deserve. At our age, I am pretty lucky,
don't you think?
