June 1971 (Our Lady of the Snows) - Beautiful summer evening in East St. Louis with . . .(Where in the hell is Larry Richardson?) I had a solid blessing from God, fine baby boy born April 1971, Marvin Gay's "What's Going On", Black Egyptians, Black Panthers, New York educations (Were you in Manhattan 1974?) no finances, then back home to East Saint, (Oh my goodness; Politics!), Campaigning for a ("Flyer - East Side High)'s Dad for E St L Mayor, (Thanks Sherry Williams), Walker's Royal (thanks Charlotte Braggs-Thomas) on State Street, and then up north to Wayne U for some further formal education, and whoa! Radio Show in ????, no doubt. Lasted for awhile, not too many sponsors for a Saturday evening show, and of course, more POLITICS!. Landed a job in the Mayor's Office of North Chicago, (politics, politics, who you know, who you know?) Now, finishing out a retirement with the Union Pacific Railroad here in the Windy City. Four more years to go! What a Crazy - life altering - not over yet -LIFE
Time to turn the page of this story, ready for the next trip. Hope to see some of u along the way.
One thing for sure, God willing, this ride is sure to be a lot smoother than the last. Sunset dreams, prayerfully NO FREAKIN' "POLITICS"! & longevity!
