Beverly's Story
Life
After high school I attended CSHU. I graduated in a social science field. I worked in the City of Berkeley, Finance Dept. I got married and moved to Memphis, TN. I am currently a substitute teacher in the Memphis City Schools.
The best thing that has ever happened to me, is Jesus. I received Christ as my personal savior my last year in college. Since then, I have had a more fulfilling life.
I have two girls. One is 20 and the other is 19. Now, they are attending the University of Memphis.

spite the fact that I was the only black student in your class. May God Bess You! I only have good memories of you all. I work in a predominately black area and often I give mini sermons to students whenever I see a white student sitting alone in a classroom. I tell them that you all befriended me and how grateful I felt. Of course, the black students claim they are already friends with the seperated white student. So, see I'm giving back what I received.
