Beverly's Story

HI! It certainly has been a long time. I do hope that you will remember me as a happy and joyful person. I love to relax by playing golf or working out at the gym and/or enjoying our friends and family. I am truly happy with my life, I married my best friend (2nd time around) and my family are all people who I am very proud to call mine. My husband Ralph retired in June (2001). Shortly after he retired, we moved to the desert. We love to travel and generally we are off for parts known and unknown for about 8-10 weeks in the summer. Usually those trips are our "Golf Oddysseys". When I think of school, I always think of Mrs. Loth, my 8th grade teacher. She truly understood the difficulties of a girl who is 5' 10" at 13. She was so kind and I have tried to look her up on several occasions only to come to dead ends. I have 3...Expand for more
children a son and two daughters and Ralph has two daughters. We have 11 grand-children and probably some more in the next few years. I really loved the children but somehow I think the grands are the best parts of us. They are so much fun. We are so fortunate that they all live in Orange County, so we try to get to see them and attend their games as often as we can, as it is only a 2 hour drive. Oh, I almost forgot our dog, Amie! She is a Pekingnese and she is our child now! Ask me who rules our house. I moved from Manhattan Beach in the spring of 1960 to Rolling Hills Estates and then went to Fleming Junior High and Narbonne H.S. until Palos Verdes HS was built in 1961. I am so curious about so many of you, the friends I grew up with. I have thought of you often and really look forward to seeing you all again! Bev :)
