Beverly's Story
Beverly A. Trail Ed.D. coordinates the Gifted Education Program at Regis University and is author of the best-selling book Twice-Exceptional Gifted Children: Understanding, Teaching, and Counseling Gifted Students. She is past chair of National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Special Populations Network and is a frequent presenter at the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Conventions. In addition, she is on the Colorado Gifted Education State Advisory Committee, and Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented Board Member.

Beverly earned a doctorate (Ed.D.) in Gifted/Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a master's degree (MEd) in Curriculum Leadership and Gifted Education from the University of Denver, and a bachelor's degree in vocational education from Colorado State University. She is endorsed as a Gifted Education Specialist and holds a Director of Special Education License.
Beverly is married to Fred Trail and they have two children (Ryan and Julie) and two grand children (Morgan and Henry). They love to travel and particularly enjoyed their trips to Africa, New Zealand, Scotland, Europe, Newfoundland, South and Central America.
