Beverly's Story
Life
After graduating from Fremd I went to Harper for a year and a half. My twin brother Bob went to the University of Kansas a semester before I did and I felt so lost without him that I followed him there the next semester. Bob and I both got our degrees from KU. Bob headed back to the Chicago area and I stayed in Kansas. I ended up marrying a dentist here in Lawrence, KS. I have 4 kids...daughter 6, son 8, son 9 and stepson 20. Bob married a dental hygienist from Iowa and they had 2 beautiful daughters 8 and 9. Unfortunately their marriage did not last. Many of you know...Expand for more
that in Feb of 2003, Bob died of a massive heart attack, he was only 38. He was getting ready to move to Lawrence or nearby because of a job promotion. We were so excited about finally being together again, but he died just 11 days before coming here. Needless to say I feel pretty lost without my other half. Thank God for his and my children. He lives on through his daughters and I know his spirit lives through me as well. My children, with all their activities, keep me very busy and I also find time to sell real estate. My life is pretty amazing even in spite of Bob's death.
