Beverly's Story
Life
After high school, I went to college in upstate New York, then lived in NYC for a few years, moved to California (worked in PR with the press agent for the Doors). Returned to NYC where I met John Gaffney (now my husband). Loved working and living in NYC in those days. John got a job teaching Latin and Spanish at a school in upstate NY so we moved there and then to the Washington DC area. I recycled myself and became a nurse. Currently I'...Expand for more
m retired and we're enjoying frequent trips--went to Mexico last winter and plan to spend part of the coming winter on Isla Mujeres (island just off Cancun). Fortunately John's Spanish is terrific since I remember very little from school (tho I do pick it up when we are in the environment). We have two grown daughters--Juliette, a lawyer in Cincinnati, married with two sons, and Rachel who lives near Orlando, married with a son and a daughter.
