Bil's Story

Life BIL Willis graduated from Gresham Union High School in 1964, and from OSU in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management. BIL spent a little over two years in the U.S. Army as an aide-de-camp to two general officers and as a company commander. After graduating from college and finishing his military experience, BIL worked in forestry for about 10 years, including owning his own small logging and consulting forestry business. In 1977 BIL became associated with Marcus Realty, Inc. in Gresham, Oregon, and was one of their top producers. In June, 1990, he joined RE/MAX Associates Inc. and is currently associated with RE/MAX Executives in Portland, Oregon. While consistently being a top producer in the industry, BIL has also received the following designations: Graduate of the REALTORS Institute-GRI (1991), Cert...Expand for more
ified Residential Specialist-CRS (1991) and Accridited Buyers Representative-ABR (1998). He recently received his associate broker's license (1998) and manages the East Metro Office of RE/MAX Executives. In 1990, BIL was recognized by Gresham Board of REALTORS (Now EMAR) as their REALTOR Of The Year, and in 1998 BIL was honored as the CRS of the Year for the State of Oregon. BIL enjoys mentoring other agents, giving back to his industry a part of himself, the true sign of success. BIL, his wife Nancy, and two children Everett (20) and Sarah (18) live on their tree farm near Corbett, Oregon. They are active in the community and regularly support the Columbia Gorge Seventh-day Adventist Church in Troutdale where BIL serves in various responsibilities. Their hobbies include horses, rock hounding, music, hiking, gardening, and travel.
