Bill's Story
Life
Many of you know me as "Butch" so I will start with that. My life actually gained meanin when I joined the Marine Corps in 1965. My combat experience in Vietnam gave me a deeper appreciation for life and what life can offer. It also put me on a course to pursue advanced education. I have obtained Masters degrees in Social Work and Public Administration. I have been active in public service for the last 25 years including serving as a member of the Hayward City Council and the Alameda County Board of Super...Expand for more
visors(in California). I have also served on a number of non-profit Boards of a diverse group of Human Service organizations. I am married and have four "children" ages 39, 32, 25 and 18. I am also the proud grandfather to three boys ages 11, 8, and soon to be 1. In this later stage of my life it is important to me to make contact with many of you who have had a positive impact on my life. So I am respectfully intruding on your life in hopes we can again connect. I look forward to every day. I am truly blessed.
