It seems like three lifetimes ago that we went to Mt. Miguel. I stay in contact with Noel Christianson and Laura Binkley Walker and Jane Crosswhite, all through faceboook. They all seem to be doing great and are wonderful women. After High School I went to UC Santa Curz and then worked for the government for a while as a system analyst. I got bored and took a very interesting management consulting job with Price Waterhouse where I worked for many years. I then went into the overseas trading business and imported finished marble and granite from Turkey, China, India and Brazil. I did this quite a while and loved it. I especially loved the overseas travel and experiences in very different Cultures and Countries. I think I was most happy when I was in some God forsaken area, like about 1,000 miles west of Chengdu, China or on the Tibetan plateau, where they had never really seen a foreigner back then. I traveled in Russia by myself in 1985 when there were no foreigners at all and wondered around St. Petersburg, Moscos and the Chinese Silk trading route in Uzbekistan and Tadecketan . I never had one problem overseas but I look back now and sometimes think I was nuts to go to the places I went by myself for so long. I certainly wouldn't do it today as it would be too dangerous.
