. In August of 1978, I was hired by the Dallas County Juvenile Department. From September of 1978 until September of 2004, I worked as a Juvnenile Probation Officer, where I retired with 26 years service. After retirement from the Juvenile Department, I began working as a Substitute Teacher with Garland Independent School District. I completed 14 years as a Substitute Teacher before retiring again to become a full time "Papa" to grandchildren. I continue to live in Garland, Texas (since 1978) with my wife, daughter and grandson. On December 9, 2012, my daughter Amy had our grand-daughter "Adrianna". Our grandson Drew is very protective and proud of his little sister and requires special "holding time" with her often.
