Bill's Story

The first job I had after High School. I did instrument control panels for Aireo Space and worked on the Space program. Stayed 7 years. Worked at Xerox for some time and got laid off at Christmas time and that may have changed my life. I only wanted to do Business or self employed ventures after that. I love to start small businesses and sell them. I was in the Pinball and Jukebox business for many years.. I would buy broken machines, shine them up put them in a location that would make money. 10 years old I went to a Birthday Party at the Skating Rink in Garden Grove. I was hooked. I tried Dance Skating, Figure Skating and Speed. I won some Meddles and Trophies at all of these competitions. The very first race that I entered at 19 years old I won. No holding me back after that. I speed skated for the next 25 years. Coached a little along the way. Had a few champions under my belt. I was a record holder and a title holder. I didn't stop competing until I was 46. I raced bikes for a few years and I miss them both. I still pace around with my old friends. We do 5 or 6 miles two times and then go home. At the moment I pace on Sun. and do 45 min. to an hour. You Wanna Race…. I have many life stories and may come back and add to this….
