Bill's Story
Left West and subsequently went to 5 different colleges in California. Ended up owning interest in a Chev/Cadillac dealership in rural Northern California. Sold my half in 1992 and went to work at the County Sheriffs office. at Lake Tahoe. Worked there until 2004 and was disability retired. after a major job injury. What a great and wonderful job. Would have done it for free! Retired in 2004 and moved with all of our children, spouse and families to Tennessee. Seven families in all.. What a beautiful place with very friendly folks. wife of 47 years. We have 14 grand children and three great grand children. Most live just a few minute away.. We have been very fortunate to have them so close and count our blessing daily..
We also have a large log cabin in Burnsville, NC, that is a vacation rental that sleeps 35 . If you ever want to go deer or bear hunting in North Carolina. Just check out the web site at. VRBO.com/162925
I never really did much socially with any folks at West. Most of my close friends attended other High Schools in Torrance and Long Beach, I was very involved in a large church youth group, in Long Beach, CA. That is where I met my future wife when she was just 15 yrs. We married three years later. I had been 20 for two weeks and she was 18. Many wonderful years with a beautiful, loving woman.
A lot of uninteresting info that I rambled about., I guess I had nothing else to do.
