Bill's Story
I was born and raised right there in Goodletsville. I graduated in 1957. Attended Vanderbilt, Austin Peay, MTSU and Graduated from Troy with double major in Business Administration.
I was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force in 1961 and served as a pilot and staff officer for 26 years and retired in 1986. I returned to Hendersonville and flew jets for Hospital Corporation of America. Now President of Bill Fuqua Construction, Inc. We are members of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
My life has been a joy, a pleasure and a blessing, I wouldn't change a day of it. If I go to be with my Lord tomorrow I will have lived my life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. My friends and family are the greatest joy and blessing that anyone could ask for. I hope my old friends remember me as my same old smiley self, living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute.
