Billy's Story
I graduated from Iona College and then LIU with an MBA. For the last thirty years, I've worked as a financial advisor/planner in Connecticut. I married a girl I met in graduate school thirty years ago and have two great children (boys). I live in Newtown, CT and work in Danbury, CT. Planning to work for a few more years, I love what I do. Built a retirement house five feet back from the Connecticut River in Orford, NH. It is the most beautiful spot I have ever seen. I've begun collecting antique cars and plan on driving one of them, a 1914 Hudson, around the world with a good friend. My son Matt has joined my business although he hopes to run it from an office in Boston. He has a law degree from UCONN is 31 and I think the social life in that area is more attractive than Danbury. If he hits the lottery, he will become a ski bum in Bozeman Montana.My younger son Jason is a professor at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vermont. He and his girl friend will be getting married this August in Vermont. Both Jason and Christy are pursuing additional degrees in the medical field.
I have been truly blessed despite Sister Louis Marie's predictions. It has been a
great run. Hopefully a lot more to go.
